Due to the modernization has become much better from the aspect of accessibility, but earlier also had its charm
Freiburg-Littenweiler is not only the stop of the regional train Freiburg-Seebruck via Titisee, Hinterzarten and Aha (3-Seen-Bahn), but also the last stop of the tram line 1 from Landwasser to Littenweiler via the Bertoldsbrunnen. Unfortunately, the tram line 1 no longer leads to the station Littenweiler, but to Laßbergstraße, so it lacks a stretch section and a footpath is needed. This is annoying especially for the elderly and the disabled. At the final stop of the tram 1 also the bus line 17 to Freiburg-Kappel and the bus line 18 to Ebnet starts.
A normal train station even has a P&R car park, but it is usually full.
The station has been undergoing a major expansion since March 2018 and (again) to a train station. Overall, the route from Freiburg to Donaueschingen will be expanded. The railroad crossing is closed until the end of September 2018!
Since 1.10. the trains go to heaven.
Since 1.12. the trains go to Titisee!
Old, run down, just a ticket office, the bike racks are unusable and there is hardly any clean seating.
