I can clearly NOT give a recommendation to Sparkasse Wittenberg! Despite an application for forwarding (by moving), the Sparkasse simply bills me with an amount of EUR 20 (address identification costs, processing returns) and deducts it from my account without prior notice. When I tried to clarify this over the phone, the employee presented me as stupid: "I would have had a few months to inform the Sparkasse of my new address (in the form of a copy of my ID)." The lady has forgotten that we are in a state of emergency due to the corona pandemic! The change of registration was only possible by post and it was extremely lengthy. The issuance of the new identity card was only possible 4 months later due to the corona measures. The private circumstances, which have become difficult, chaotic and stressful due to Corona, must also be taken into account! A forwarding request (which runs until May / 2021) was developed precisely for such circumstances and should therefore be a relief, as you gain some time to inform banks, insurance companies, health insurances, authorities of the new address! I've moved 5 times in my life. Each time I have made use of a forwarding request. But at no time did I have such a theater or such an unfriendly employee on the phone! The consequence will be that I will leave Sparkasse Wittenberg as a long-term customer.

Too bad that the employees have no idea! No one can give me information and the responsible people are not there. Create a new account takes 1 hour 30 min. and needs 4 visits 😭👎
