We made a day trip to Wittenberg to visit Luther historical sites. We paid 11 Euros each to enter Luther 1517 360 panorama and, for our surprise, we were very disappointed when we realized that we paid a lot of money just to see a panoramic gigant picture of a typical day at Wittenberg back in 1500. That’s it, that’s everything there, plus a very brief and general written info (basically a paragraph) about Luther and the impact of reformation. The picture is nice but for us the ticket cost is super inflated to see it.

This is a giant 360 degree wraparound picture with lifesize people representing a typical? day in Wittenberg during Luther's time. Though interesting it is vastly overpriced and I would think many visitors would feel somewhat cheated. It would hold the interest of the average child/ teen for 5 - 10 mins tops.

This is well worth a visit. Unfortunately it is only a temporary exhibition. The City should certainly consider making it permanent and relocating it to a more attractive building. It is a panoramic artwork and audio visual demonstration of the life and times of Martin Luther, an hour or so spent here will clearly equip any new visitor to Wittenberg to understand the town's historical significance and relate its current architecture and layout to historic events.

I love Yadegar Asisi's panoramic imagery. This one did not disappoint

I have to say I really enjoyed this and sat well over an hour. It really made you feel what it was like to be back in Martin Luther's time.
