Highly recommended
A museum that unfortunately does not use its potential. - I don't know of any other museum that presents its exhibits in such a boring and boring way. Facsimiles and stuffed animal carcasses, unlabelled skulls and works of art without title or information cards in a special exhibition, which is not even mentioned on the website. You won't find any advertising in the city either. - Deficits and amateurism, wherever you look. One consequence of this is extremely modest visitor numbers. But how do you want to convince tourists? With a red armist’s jacket? With a pile of pennies found? With the severed foot of an elephant that served as a trash can for a trophy hunter? With the carved figure from a German colony that was acquired in 1937? - How can you call such a smorgasbord with an incomplete city model in the middle of the room "crown jewels"?
Lutherstadt Wittenberg a very beautiful city
Very nice exhibition ...
For two euros you get the historical Wittenberg vividly and with explanations, historical city exhibits and can also look at the impressive monastery church next door. Worth seeing!
