I am overjoyed to have finally got the right insoles for my feet because I was only in another medical supply store and unfortunately got the wrong insoles there at a high price and wore them for a year without improvement. I publish my father's review here ... Due to a medical treatment error during a foot operation in September 2016, several follow-up operations had to be carried out in a special clinic in Münsterland. During these operations, a total of 9 cm of the lower leg bones were removed, which meant that I needed a special shoe to compensate for the difference in leg length. A company for orthopedic shoe technology based in the clinic “built” my first special shoes, starting with simple casual shoes with Velcro fasteners, Slippers, also with Velcro, a so-called "night splint", which protects my left foot from twisting during the night, I was given a bathing shoe so that I can take a shower while standing and, finally, day shoes, made of beautiful leather, in different colors, laced up. All of this happened over a period of a good 2 years, starting from September 2017. I live in Cremlingen near Braunschweig, so whenever I needed new shoes I had to go to Münsterland, approx. 500 km there and back, with a time expenditure of 8 hours. In terms of time, it was too costly and time-consuming for me. So I had to try to find a new company in the area where I live that could also make me special shoes. I then received the crucial advice from my daughter. She was being treated by an orthopedic doctor, talking to her about my problem with special shoes and the long trips to the Münsterland. And this doctor then called my daughter Reinhardt & Müllenheim, Braunschweig, Bäckerklint 6. I telephoned Mr. Reinhardt first and explained to what extent I need special orthopedic shoes. Yes, he even came to my house and I showed him my entire shoe collection. That was in autumn 2019. After this first conversation, Mr. Reinhardt received the first orders from me, initially to make minor changes to the existing special shoe, on the left, with the increase of 9.0 cm. And in spring 2020 I gave him the first order for a pair of new special shoes, in brown, with an indicated heel for the left special shoe. When I was able to receive these shoes in May, I was really impressed by the very good quality, the fit, the shapely beauty, made in the Budapest style, actually almost too beautiful and elegant to wear. Conclusion: For me only Mr. Reinhardt, co-owner of the Orthopedic shoe technology Reinhardt & Müllenheim, Braunschweig, make all special shoes.
