Camping Winneburg

Small but nice campground. Close to the road but there is hardly any noise. At night it's dark as well (which is nice when you sleep in a tent!). Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner though, there is also no soap for your hands. Wifi en stream are free!

Nice cozy place. And very friendly owner. The staff does mostly only speak German but the English speakers doe speak English very well. The camping cares for its guests. When we made a note about 2 new very rude and annoying guests the owner took it serious and started on getting them out right away. There is a cafe/restaurant next to the camping and a very nice ruin about a 20-25 min walk from the camping.

Sanitary fine, washing up area is due for renovation, no longer of this time. No distance in the Corona time, the administrator did little about it and believed it. Dirty containers dirty and smelly, are behind the washing up area. Rats were running around there. An African-colored boy was emptying the waste containers and sorting everything on paper, plastic, etc., etc., very dirty work to reduce the price of the waste collection. SHAME CAMPSITE IS NO LONGER OF THIS TIME

We have been here in August. It was really too hot. But have been wonderful here on the campsite. It was 36 degrees, but the river that runs on the campsite is about 10 degrees, lovely and clear water. Lovely to cool off in. And the WIFI on the campsite is perfect. I was also able to watch Formula 1 in the river without any problems. You can go in any direction for a nice walk and the shop is also quite close. Friendly owner. You can find a place of your choice here. And showers are top notch and clean. Lovely quiet campsite.
