Campingplatz Bruttig-Fankel

Very relaxed and inexpensive campsite. Clean toilets and showers. Stayed one night in a tent. Campsite located near a river. River is navigable, so not a great place for a swim. Local town has a great wine bars as well as local wine shops worth visiting. Camp has some foosball tables.

This is a small campsite overlooking the Mosel with vineyards. It cost us €17,90 with electronic hook up for one night so good value for money. Please note the shower block and WC are up quiet a few steep stairs ( a shower block on stilts). The shower block is quiet modern but I think because we are at the end of the season the cleaning is lacking it may be because of the mud as it has rained l day. Nothing going on in the village apart from Winzers and a few places to eat

We had dinner here. The food was cheap and okay but we had some communication troubles with the staff members about the order. The curry Wurst and french fries were nice though and the beer was delicious. Very peaceful location not far from the river and under the shade of the trees: it was cool and relaxing. Good place for a quick lunch or dinner.

A site that sits on the banks of the Mosel. With good toilets and showers. There is a bar that serves wine, beer and food. A small play area for kiddies. Great for cycling. I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the campsite for 2 nights. The campsite has earned 5 stars for the price and performance of the campsite. We paid 36 € for 2 nights for two with a camper van. There is free WiFi, clean sanitary facilities and due to the size of the space, the way to the sanitary facilities is not that far. What is not so nice here, the showers cost 50 cents for a 5 minute shower. The sewage and chemical toilet emptying is right there where the sinks for washing dishes. The sanitary facilities can only be reached via metal stairs. But because of the beautiful location and the price we will come again.
