Pool is closed all summer due to covid-19 regulations. Beautifully kept campsite, and not overcrowded like others in the area.

Very good camping, we stayed here from the 18/07/2020 until the 22/07/2020, so during the covid-19 pandemic and we need to say the following about this place: - very clean the cleaning lady was always cleaning every sanitary facility on the campsite. (toilets/showers/water fountains/.... ) - the camping personnel was super friendly and informed us very well about the region. - the camping spots are really nice and well maintained. (power and water almost everywhere Everybody was following the local covid-19 rules and it was just wonderful to see how well organised everything was. Thanks for this pleasant stay and we will come back soon. ps: the fact the pool wasn't open because of covid-19 didn't even bother us. (also nice they gave discount because of the closed pool)

Nice campsite, but poor service. Reserved a pitch, but upon arrival it was (mistakenly) taken by someone else. Instead of telling the others to move from our pitch, the campground owner put us in some kind of back alley reserve spot (which was also quite small for our set up) right next to the pool/bistro restaurant. During daytime we had the smell of the kitchen and screaming kids at the pool and at night the noise of the kitchen coolers. Not the experience we hoped for. Although the campsite is nicely located and has good facilities, we have difficulties to understand how the campsite handled this issue.

Don't normally review places that I haven't actually stayed at but wanted to share my experience of trying to stay here as it may be helpful! Firstly the phone number(s) given on Google listing and the campsite website don't appear to be correct so couldn't phone to make a booking. Sent an email instead to explain this and that we would come anyway in the hope they could fit us in. (Almost 24hrs later and still no reply received, but perhaps that's expecting a lot) The access to the campsite was incredibly difficult due to temp road closures but little attempt made to help people navigate this. Ended up driving round in circles three times trying to renegotiate complicated one way system. Eventually found reception only to discover it had closed at 5.30pm, which seems far too early for what is a holiday business. In the end, feeling quite exasperated about the whole experience, we drove away and stayed elsewhere ... 50 miles away in fact which means the loss of a little tourism income for other local businesses in the area. We had traveled over 400 miles on a very hot day so perhaps this also contributed to feeling rather grumpy!
