Camping Pommern

We read a lot of the reviews before deciding to stay but we were out of options as it was getting late. A lot of comments about a nice owner and poorly maintained facilities. If you come to a camp ground expecting hotel facilities then this is the wrong place. We stayed for one night, there were a lot of spaces for pitching a tent and there was no fixed areas, so it was great. Showers and bathrooms were clean, warm and free. Actually to be honest, they were actually some of the best camp ground showers we have used. Yes, the place is a little dated, but everything works and is clean. Only odd part were the showers were only open at certain times but it was fine for us. And also, as with all campgrounds in summer, all the "lifers" have the best spots on the water. There is a little town close by with some nice restaurants, but be warned they all seem to close quite early.

The pool is nice tho the park is looking like it hasnt been taken care of in 2 years but theres lots of space

Nice campground along the Moesel River. Friendly (Dutch) owner. Easy 20 mins. to Eltzburg Castle. Close to the train station. Kid friendly with a clean swimming pool.

Very laid back campsite Frank the owner is very helpful and friendly nice bar and restaurant with swimming pool decent showers and toilets and very close to cochem you can catch the train straight opposite the campsite 5 minute train ride into cochem staff speak excellent English
