Nice and simple campsite. Cheap, easy to find and a very nice staff. Not least 'campingwart' Willy Weber - love him. No shops on campsite, but several others in two km distance. Good for families with small children and adults og their own. Perhaps not so attractive to teenagers.

A very nice and friendly small campsite. Has bread roll service, cooking facilities, swimming pool, right on the river, nice clean shower blocks and toilets. The people that run this campsite are very helpful and friendly. The only down side is if you have dogs you only have the path next to river to walk along. Excellent place for older people or families with children. Really worth staying here with it's pretty view's. Not near a town but has a fantastic restaurant called Namaste 60 m away.

A sloping site next to the Mosel, clean modern facilities, token-operated showers 50c per token. Reception times 08.00 - 11.00 and 17.00 - 18.00. You can arrive any time and will be greeted by someone at the entrance who will take you to a pitch and connect you to the electric (70c per kWh) should you need it. Register at reception when it opens.

Came here 25/7 2018. Got a really bad impression directly. An old angry man with bad behavior met us when we arrived. We turned around and went to Knaus camping instead. Knaus have more space and much better service! Lisa from Sweden

Really lovely campsite. Excellent location by the river. Friendly, helpful, organised owner with excellent English. All washing etc. facilities spotless (looked to have been recently renovated). Tokens for shower with 4.5 mins but you can pause it if you need a bit more time. We thought great idea for saving water and keeping queues down!! Plenty of shade around the site. Pool needs a bit of tlc but kids seemed to be enjoying it. Lovely big sandy playground area. Morning delivery of bread and pastries. Walking distance (along river) to gorgeous Bernkastel-Kues. We hired bikes there from Fun Bikes for 12 euros a day and had a lovely time cycling up and down the riverside. Highly recommended all round! PS We found the old guy who scoots round the place taking care of the elec hook-ups and showing you to your place to be perfectly amenable so not sure why he gets so many mentions on here!
