Campground Graach / Mosel (Sun Park)

Very peaceful, great wine

A very nice basic site in a top location right next to river Moselle and 200 meters from local village with restaurants and wine tasting. Toilets, showers and in general the whole site very clean and tidy. We planned to stay 2 days and ended up staying 5 days😅. Nice 2km walk into town via foot path next to river (pleanty of benches to sit and rest as well). You can also take a boat back from or into town as a landing stop in right in the camp site! Also very conviniant for a half day boat trip down the river. The site is also perferct fot bike riders being next to the main Moselle cycle path.

A nice clean campground, with access to water, toilet, shower. There is also a bar/restaurant, and the bread truck comes in morning and give you possibility to buy fresh bread.

What should be a really nice site with good but basic facilities is totally spoiled by the horrible little man who runs the site. He marches round shouting at the top of his voice at foreign visitors. Clearly this man does not like polite English speaking visitors. Other German campers were left to apologise to ourselves and several other guests who were subjected to his ranting. Shame because his wife is nice and the lovely town deserves better He is in the wrong job but I really don't think he cares.

At 13 Euro a night incl electrics this is a good value site. Lovely pitches along the riverbank but the main road can be noisy. Excellent facilities. Clean and tidy. Motorhome facilites are very good. A couple of travelling shops service the site and it has a bar of its own. About 30 mins walk to Bernkastel but there is a bus service until early evening. Showers ar 1.50 Euro extra Would definitely stay here again PS now under new ownership so no sign of a horrible man .The new owner is a really nice guy and very helpful. Great atmosphere as there are several semi-permanent camper vans that form a little community and help out with the site. We stayed 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. True, the facilites are portacabins but they are clean and well looked after
