KNAUS Campingpark Bernkastel-Kues

Nice camping by the river. It’s quit expensive and the toilets are quit far away from some point on the camping. We had a small tent and a small car, if we wanted to have both on the spot (41 euro total), or 27 without car (which is still expensive for the space we needed) We were the only ones of the field, so we had plenty space for our car. It will be nice if the camping also encourage people with small tents, not just the big caravans. Still nice camping with good views.

Only one facilities block for the whole camping is not enough. Water taps around the site are not many either. Bathrooms and showers were overcrowded with no checks at the entrance (bad in corona times). To top it all up, the place is overpriced - 30 eu for 2 ppl and 1 tent. Only plus was the place itself, quite nice on a river island

The camping ground was okay, but faculties were few and the camping is expensive (30 euros for a tent for 2ppl, the nights before we paid 22 and 12 euros). There seems to be only one block of sanitary facilities, which is far away from the tent area and seemed poorly ventilated (you could not open any windows). In theory you could enter the showers with max 4 people at the same time, but when I entered, there were at least 7 girls inside. The humid air and no open windows did not feel corona proof. There are no showers outside. The camping has few tabs and they are located close to the sanitary block. The reception and shop close at 6 pm.

This is by far one of the best camping sites in the whole moselle area. Friendly, pricing is ok, a lot of space, a great village next to it, and just CHILL camping owners.
