Manfred Pollmanns

Manfred Pollmanns has now been in retirement for a few years, which I only found out in retrospect because he is still commercially available in the yellow pages and in the phone book.

Basically a solid result and the problems have been fixed. The journeyman arrived and after a brief look at the water reservoir he went straight to work. (Originally the requirement was: one should look at the dripping thing and say what to do, at what price and then, if necessary, receive an order). The young man first tried an 8 bar valve that didn't fit. It was said that it would then be more expensive and that the entire device would then have to be replaced. Dismantling / restoring the initial state failed because the removal made the already defective valve unusable. After a short phone call there was suddenly a solution (why not right away?). Obtaining the correct valve produced a satisfactory result. Important note: No big words and no information on the basic hourly prices. A little more communication with the customer would be useful and appropriate here. Should be clarified beforehand by the client. The hourly rate quoted on request was correct. There was a usual flat rate for travel expenses, which was quite cheap. A spare part that was not available was procured without further ado (will be charged with an additional flat-rate travel cost to the wholesaler). Is probably common in the industry. The price quoted on site for the safety valve did not correspond to the invoice amount. This was about 50% higher. Also possibly a common surcharge. Overall: Slightly increased and for the client not manageable costs. You could have saved yourself time and had to invoice a little less. But the result is okay.
