Was looking for new Birkenstocks today, the lady in the shop welcomed me, but that was it (no asking if she could help me or something, well, I can check it out). Then I had chosen a model and asked if it was available in my size and what it looks like with the fits. I was only told that I would only find this model in Holtenauer Str anyway only the fits narrow and normal would have on offer and then would not know anything about it. Wow, I can get this information on the Internet and also get the shoes cheaper - how can you as a retail business cut yourself into your own flesh ?! The retail sector can still hold its own when it comes to customer service. Well, I'd rather spend less money elsewhere ..

Initial consultation was good, so even a more expensive model bought (140 €). After less than two months (easy use, office job) solves the sole, so warranty claimed. Although a repair was offered, it will take two weeks. Two weeks without shoes, and that in this price segment.
