Today I tried to get advice for a required product (a waste, inlet and overflow set from Viega for a normal bathtub) as to whether it is in stock so that I can get it from my plumber. Thanks to the slightly detached so-called customer advisor on the phone, the attempt remained: "I should already know exactly what I want, including the manufacturer's item number." Hello?? Then what do I need you for, you can get cheaper at Amazon, Geizhals, e-Bay - have you ever heard of? There was probably no specialist at either end of the line. The gentleman at the other end was neither able nor willing to advise. I consciously and gladly pay more on site for advice and service that is different from the usual. Both are a long way off here. Apparently they're still doing too well. Another phone call to the Bauhaus revealed that Viega has a standard product for this, which I also bought directly. Good service and friendly advice create customer proximity and trust and also justify other prices. Bauhaus seems to have understood this principle. Atta in Neuenrade - never again!

For skilled tradesmen heating / sanitary (if you have an account there) a good place to go. Well equipped and the on-site staff is always on hand for any questions, orders or quick finding of needed parts (if you are in a hurry). Even if something is not in stock, all that is possible is to get it done as quickly as possible.
