Numerous internships in our own university laboratories provide the first practical experience in engineering ... Here you are and are very well prepared for professional life not treated as a mass product as is usual in other universities ... If you study then only THGA!

I switched to this university for a part-time master's degree in process engineering and will now leave it again in the first semester. The organization is absolutely underground. There are 2 confusing online portals where you have to log in for modules. Enrollment keys are often required, but you hardly get any information on how to get them. The study advisory staff are overworked due to the high administrative effort, sending e-mails with information about lectures sometimes to the university mail address and sometimes to the private one. In some cases you have 6 e-mails spread over the day in several mailboxes. I also wish a lot of fun to the students who have Prof. Lenski as lecturers. How such a person can teach in this way at a university in 2020 is a mystery to me. His script is only available in printed form. Every student has to sign that he will not digitize it in any way. At the time of Corona, a copy of the script is being deposited with the gatekeeper, which a student can pick up and copy. The latter then also has the honorable task of being able to distribute the script to 30 other fellow students for a professor from yesterday. Of course, without digitizing it. Even high-spirited effusions in Mr. Lenski's lectures that plant engineering in Africa is difficult because, quote: "... there are no skilled workers in the bush" or nuclear power plants are the only clean energy generation, contribute to enriching my level of education. If you as a professional decide to study at this university, start networking with higher semesters from the first day. Otherwise you will make mistakes right from the start when you register the modules. Every student will tell you that it takes some time to get through the online campus. Maybe it works differently for full-time students, no idea. An effective course of study at this university is not possible for me and I would now prefer to pay € 8,000 at a university. Obviously, the university has not yet understood that there are people studying in its part-time Master's degree who are already in responsible positions in their companies. A good organization should therefore be the cornerstone of part-time training. In my view, I cannot recommend this university.

I really enjoyed the course, both Bachelor and Master. Very familiar university with good professors. The mining studies are very good and the professional prospects afterwards are very good. I can highly recommend the course.
