We slept in a barrel which was a great and unique experience. our sleeping place was directly next to the water and we enjoyed our stay there very much! the bathrooms were also super clean and staff friendly. we can recommend it!

Clean toilets, very unfriendly receptionist, really nothing to see in the village. Good for stop over.

What a delightful campsite. Friendly staff. We could choose our own pitch and had an area to ourselves sectioned off by hedges. The showers and toilets were spotless. We will definitely be back.

VERY NOISY on a Saturday night due to a local venue playing extremely load music all night. Apart from not getting any sleep it is a nice campsite with good facilities just be aware Saturday may be an issue.

Central location, close to the highwaybwith nice biergartens, restaurants, supermarkets and bakery in walking distance. Lots of shady trees and the river Altmühl passing by the campsite. The clean and comfortable washrooms have been renovated in 2018/19, rates for a spaceous caravan pitch incl electricity for two adults start at 30€ / day which is a common and quite reasonable price. They also have a huge transit area where you can stay overnight without having to unhitch your trailer. One of the nicest campsites in the valley of river Altmühl.
