Reviews
I can Dr. I can only recommend Widenka.
Woke up from anesthesia and immediately felt free of pain.
Very friendly and humane doctor with a sense of humor.
Good diagnostics, great advice and excellent treatment. The subsequent care and treatment is also very careful and caring.
Dr Widenka is a friendly and lovable doctor. He takes all the time and thus also the fear of an operation. He is an extremely competent specialist, which was confirmed after my operation without complications. I just say ... ER IS THE VERY BEST ... 1A with at least 5 stars and that is still not enough.
After terrible pain in my back and legs when walking, standing and sitting, so that tears ran down my head, I was accommodated very well for 9 days in the KH Vilsbiburg and was operated on by Dr Widenka on June 21, 2020. After 3 1/2 hours of surgery on the spine I was 100% pain-free and could sit and walk again straight away. After absolute spinal stenosis at level 4/5, instability at level 4/5 and stiffening of a gliding vertebra with screws and rods, I am a new person. My world is beautiful again thanks to Dr Widenka. Thanks also to his team, always very nice and friendly.

It was foreseeable that my illness would shift due to my job. A new incident formed about the surgical intervention in 2012. Doctor Darius Widenka, treated me extensively during all this time. Because of my job, it was unfortunately unavoidable to perform another operation. In my view, Doctor Darius Widenka, mastered this operation again "perfectly". Now after 14 days, I have no more complaints. I am proud that we have such doctors in our region.

I have been a patient with Dr. Darius Widenka. He has operated on me 3 times on different parts of the body. So far, the good results have continued. Even with the intervertebral disc surgery in 2012, the result is still positive.
Over the years I feel like Dr. D.Widenka treated very well. He is a doctor who can listen and respond to the needs of the patient.
Spine 12mm OP, lumbar spine 4/5, spinal canal narrowing
About 5 years ago my back pain started in the lower spine area. Lumbar spine 4/5 sliding 12mm was diagnosed. The pain increased over time, so that until November 2020 I had to bend my knees every 500m while walking the dog in order to make walking more bearable. Often when I was sleeping I didn't know how to turn around so that I could continue to sleep relatively pain-free. A desolation at the beginning of 2019 only brought short-term success. So I decided to have the operation in December 2020. A more intensive procedure was carried out by Mr. Dr. Widenka in the Vilsbiburg Clinic (I can warmly recommend, super nice and well-trained staff) More intensive because the damage in the spinal area was not completely covered by the MRI images. Dr. Widenka discovered additional complications that weren't shown in the pictures. (Congenital adhesions) The operation lasted twice as long as scheduled. When I woke up I had 4 screws, 2 stabilizers a facet, the 3 grafted bones to secure the spinal canal in me. And?? I was doing very well from the start. Of course, the normal surgical pain accompanied me. The body first has to get used to the foreign bodies. Today is January 11th 2021 and I am pain-free in the operated spinal canal. The gliding vertebra was fixed fantastically and won't cause me any more problems. I've been walking my dog every day since mid-December and enjoy every walk without pain. 10km and more are possible again. I would like to contact Dr. Thank you very much Widenka for this absolutely professional work. Not every neurosurgeon could have performed such a complicated procedure so well. Thanks. M.Bittner
Thank God after months of medical odyssey Widenka landed. He immediately recognized what I was missing, explained to me calmly, objectively and, above all, in an understandable manner what treatment options are available. When it became clear that ultimately only one operation would help, I was extremely afraid of it, which ultimately turned out to be completely unfounded. The sometimes unbearable pain has completely disappeared, the joy of life has returned. Dr. Widenka is an excellent doctor, both personally and professionally, you can only absolutely recommend him and his entire team.
