Loads of fun, good for larger groups. I recommend reserving the bbq place at the end of the track for some lovely food before coming back. Remember to bring your meat.

Great fun for the whole family. The trolley ride is a special activity that you definitely don't experience all the time. The route is very pleasant to drive because it is almost flat. You drive through several places, through idyllic forests and fields. The route could be a bit more varied in parts, but that would probably be difficult to implement in view of the travel times. Highly recommended, it's really fun and something else.

The ride was great fun and the introduction was very good. We had booked the trip with a wine tasting and vespers. There was a large sausage and a cheese platter that we didn't even get empty. There was also plenty of wine. We can highly recommend it.

During our summer vacation in mid-August, we spontaneously decided on Fridays to take the trolley train from Bornheim to Westheim on Mondays. So we booked for four people at relatively short notice, which was absolutely no problem. We were also lucky and the weather was really good that day - it was neither too hot nor too cold and without rain, which was absolutely perfect. First you get a little briefing before you can start driving. The briefing lasted about ten minutes. Here we were explained how the draisine works and how you can lift it out of the track at the designated points where you can take a break and put it aside. Shortly afterwards we were able to take a seat in a four-person trolley. Behind the seats and between us there was still enough space to put your bags. Two people always have to pedal while two people can make themselves comfortable in the middle and enjoy the ride. We took turns from time to time so that everyone kicked and then simply enjoyed the ride again. There is enough time for the trip to Westheim - according to the time it takes about an hour and a half. At the destination station in Westheim there are toilets, a drink stand, a playground for children and enough seats to take a break. Around 3 p.m. we drove back towards the Bornheim departure station. All in all, it was an all-round successful and beautiful day that flew by. I can highly recommend a ride on the draisine train.
