The ticket selling machine is totally user unfriendly - if you want to buy quickly a ticket - there is no chance. The staff in the customer service office of Deutsche Bahn is absolutely unfriendly and unpoly - there was only one desk open and the service was so slow that we missed the train while we were waiting to buy a ticket. When we complained about the slow service the guy at the desk responded to all our questions in German. We understand a little German but we can't talk, so we asked him to talk in English. He replied that in Germany everybody should speak in German. We said that English is international language and in a tourist destination it's the language that is goot be available for use. He understood us perfectly but continued to talk in German. He also pointed out that in England they are not speaking German so it's vice versa in Germany. He had an awful and arrogant attitude. We have been extremely dissatisfied. The worst of all was that we asked for 2 way tickets and he sold us a one way tickets!!!! After all the drama and problems and disappointments with Deutsche Bahn we became so suspicious, that we decided to translate everything written on the tickets with Google translater and we found out by pure luck that the tickets are not valid for the way back!!!! The penalties here are huge - this guy could have put us in a lot of trouble! Don't use DB!!!! It's not safe! It's really unfriendly for foreigners!!
