The "Parking Service of the South Arcades" gave me a ticket of 30 € !!! So that I can open the driver's door without causing scratches and dents, I had to stay on the right when parking in the parking space, as the car was already parked on the white line of the parking space marking on my left. Therefore, the tires of my car were minimally in the parking space to my right, which was free. I put the parking disc behind the windshield and went shopping in the store in front of me. When I came back after a short time, I had a ticket of 30 € in the windshield! The administrative offense is: Parking outside of marked parking spaces !!! I didn't park outside the marked parking spaces, that would be m. E. Cycle path, footpath, loading area, etc. Which according to the fine catalog only costs 25 €. In the south arcades, touching a free parking space with the tires costs 30 €! I wonder how customer-friendly it is that ???? I can prove all of this with photos. Nothing over the top. So much for the southern arcades. Even one star is still too many! Addendum: I went to the lawyer today and he told me "You did nothing wrong" .... He would like to take over the case: o).

It's not worth it. For the last 20 years, it has been downhill. Cheap shops, run down shops, bad restaurants and impossible parking hours. The southern karts are a real shame for Sankt Augustin ...

@ James Pumkin. The South Arcades have a very good Italian restaurant, a very good if not the best Chinese restaurant. We also have a post office, a florist, a supermarket and a very good barber. Diverse doctors, travel agency, pharmacy, tanning salon, printing studio, massage paris, driving school and 2 Krimskramläden. There are enough parking spaces for everyone. What do you expect ? We are not here on Maximiliamstr. in Munich and not on the Kurfürstenstr. in Berlin. We are here in Sankt Augustin. Directly opposite is still the big huma market.
