I went to B1 German course. Siegburg Vhs is not good. They do not pay attention to quality because there is no alternative in Siegburg. The course secretary (Mrs. Kämper) treats the students badly. An answer to your questions and problems "NO" The class is very full.

I can not recommend this folk high school at all. In contrast to my good experiences in the Volkshochschule Köln, the Volkshochschule Rhein-Sieg offers neither service nor suitable premises for the course price. In fact, due to health reasons, I could not attend a course and still had to pay the full course price of 65 €. At least the teacher promised to send me the course documents. But that did not happen after 2 months. In addition, the premises are very old and in bad condition, especially in Siegburg. Although the way to Cologne is a little further, you get there in addition to a larger and higher-quality course offer also real service and courteous regulation in case of illness ...

I have been attending the Dutch course for 5 years + an educational leave as Spanish language training and had consistently positive experiences. Questions were answered quickly at any time. The lecturers make the program very varied and with different learning techniques, instead of teaching the material through typical frontal school learning.
