Informative about the Neanderthal discovery, with English and German audio equipment, but not all the English ones were functioning when we were there.
Not much to see. The place is pretty much a grass field where the the fossil of the man of Neanderthal was found, but the rock extraction business that was there pretty much completely changed the landscape. Most of the jacks for the audio guide don't work, and when they do the audio is so long it gets tedious. Take some pictures there but save your time for the excellent museum.
A must visit place. Been there twice and always amazes me. Highly recommended.
The Neanderthal museum has exhibits of their development through time. The larger brain size of the humans was a distinguishing factor.
Well done. There was still enough parking space in this bad weather. If the weather was better, it would have been wonderful to go for a walk in the area.
