Campingplatz Obernhof an der Lahn

Super friendly staff, beautiful garden and forest setting with a stream for kids to play in. Had a fantastic family Bible study week. Would recommend families attend as you are fed wonderful food and wonderful biblical teachings. We are leaving after 1 week and are filled up/refueled.

Nice place right on the Lahn. Owner very nice and helpful. Clean sanitary facilities. The beer garden "Tante Horst" has very good food at reasonable prices. Only if you have a dog (puppy) that barks and / or howls from time to time should you consider driving to the site. Long-term campers complain about the lunch break. That every few minutes a train thunders over the iron bridge, street noise from across the street can be heard loudly, also the noise of the boat engine, that doesn't matter! But woe to a dog barking in the midday break. Or in the morning before 8 a.m. That's not possible. We were there for the second and last time.

Friendly, helpful and competent. Great restaurant with a good price / performance ratio. Nice location, only the railway is a bit annoying. Little shopping possibilities in the village itself. Fishing and prices for this are ok ... will be back

Small cozy place with very nice tenants. The often objectionable train traffic is limited. Everything you need for a short weekend to relax.
