Camping On The Au

There is since 6 months a new owner! So the negative old reviews aren't accurate anymore. The new owner is friendly, and flexible and working really hard. Only negative part is paying for all the warm water. Paying for the shower is Oké but for doing the dishes... I hope the new owner will change that. Further it would be nice if there would be a tent field at the river as well, not only season spots. The area is beautiful, the village is nice for a walk and there are many castles in the area.

Very nice tenants, the whole family is very friendly and accommodating, the place is very nice and clean, the sanitary facilities are also ok (it is up to you how you leave them). There can be no talk of a Ballermann atmosphere just because a few people are having fun. But unfortunately there are people who have something to complain about about everything. So all in all a very nice place and great people here.

Simple but beautiful place in beautiful nature. The sanitary facilities are standard but always clean. There are many sights in the area, and shopping opportunities are very close by. The place is dog and child friendly (playground) There is a restaurant run by the groundskeeper and his wife with a small selection of dishes for every taste. The hosts are warm and always friendly, and run the place properly and conscientiously. Of course, depending on the clientele, people like to celebrate. If that bothers you should generally give up camping 😁 Overall, a nice place to feel good.

Great place. Very well located. Operator friendly and helpful. Plumbing perfectly fine. Camping site good and cheap. Nassau close by. We'll be back for sure.
