there was an english speaking person in entrance to guide me to the place. lady in counter was very helpful, though i had to register in fellbach, she gave me all the details of how to reach fellbach and the office operating hours. very friendly atmosphere.

the staff there is very unfriendly and unhelpful. They seams like don't know all the procedures clearly. There is even no staff in the "information centre"!! How can a visitor get general information here? All signs and forms provided are in German only. Seams like the foreigner office thinks the all foreigners should know German before entering this country. Waiting time is extremely long, the staff efficient is very low.

Went into this office today to register at my new address. After waiting for 2 hours, my number in line got skipped. When I tried to explain to the woman my number got skipped she refused to look into the issue. If it wasn’t for the good grace of the man behind me in line insisting that I go ahead of him she probably would have made me go pull another ticket and wait hours to be seen again. She also greeted me by saying we speak German here and made it seem like she can’t help me unless I spoke German. I only moved here 3 months ago and have had 2 months of German lesions. I apologize for not being able to speak it fluently... Aside from the long wait and how completely utterly rude she was ... I still was unable to register my new address. I was loving my new life in Germany until I stepped foot into this place.
