This place is quite unpredictable, if you just wondering in without any previous research on the current exhibitions there. I was there spontaneously once one and half years ago, was amazed by all the exhibitions there, li课the light sensing musical instruments and all the short films there. But couple of weeks ago, I was there again randomly.... almost everything was changed.... only boring paintings over there. Not really impressed at all. So my suggestion is do your homework before going there.....

Very nice collection of contemporary art, good display. However i have to say the lights are not ideal for all pieces

The museum is located at the city center you just can’t miss it. A beautiful modern building, very well designed from inside and outside. A very interesting permanent exhibition (Otto Dix). All temporary exhibitions from all around the world are always extremely special and exciting. Top floor restaurant with a panoramic view of Stuttgart. Ticket price is totally reasonable. Close on Monday.
