the cake is good, but the waiter and the lady behind the counter are either extremely brash or just overworked. Maybe you have a bad day today. In any case, he is discussing with all customers "what else should I do", "then they have to go somewhere else". But he is also the only waiter for almost 20 customers
The range of cakes and tarts is excellent. The sales staff was always unfriendly and unable to pack cakes and tarts reasonably transportable. No matter how many pieces of cake you buy, they try to stow everything in one package ... and they succeed ... when they get home, the cream of the nut-cream cake has spread on the rum balls and the cream slices stick to them Bee sting.
Cake was delicious.
But the Eastern European (?) Lady / waitress with the blond curly hair didn't explain a drink well (tonic is not a ginger ale ...) and could have been a little friendlier (ALL people please). 👎 Unkindness is a shame. Unfortunately, rather thumbs down here.
