Campingpark Treviris

Very good and clean campsite! Next to the river and close to the city centre! Toilets and showers are clean. Showers cost 1 euro for couple minutes. At night foxes can be seen around the campsite. Everything was super. If the owners smile at little bit more everything would be perfect I would say.

Ambivalent and unfriendly staff. Scruffy campsite. Frustrating and expensive shower facilities €1 for 2 minutes which was not communicated. Good location.

Good points: easy to walk into the centre of Trier; large pitch by the river Mosel; easy to use key card system for access to facilities. Not so good points: brusque service (a smile goes a long way!); the immediate surrounding area is very run down and it’s not pleasant to walk around; the charge for electricity seemed rather high to us. To sum up: a convenient place to stay but not one we’d return to.

Very friendly staff, but... not a very cosy place. A few places with grass, lots of black sand. Not very nice to stand on. The toilets and showers are ok and clean.
