The zwiebel baguette here is one our favourites.The pastries have never disappointed.Vegetables are expensive though and we usually only pick up the tomatoes from here since they keep a good variety.Onions and garlic are better elsewhere.The salad bar is quite good and I found the pastas delicious although again it’s pricey.Good if one is feeling lazy to cook and wants to pack something fresh to eat.Great selection of high quality cheese.Overall I find this place really clean and well setup unlike other supermarkets which are gigantic and make you walk through several aisles even if you want to grab a few things.The staff here has always been extremely polite and pleasant. The self check out counters are an added bonus as I don’t see this facility being offered by any other supermarket.The cafe is our regular hangout and we have enjoyed plenty of lovely evenings after work enjoying their sweet and savoury items which are always fresh and of top quality.

Dornseifer - fresh produce good but fair prices? I personally like the fresh produce and rate the wide range of goods positively. But I clearly question the price-performance ratio and clearly criticize the brand and price policy of the Dornseifer Group! Especially since there is currently no other grocery store in Gummersbach-Zentrum, I find it very negative to have to go to the mostly overcrowded shop. I would like to subtract 2 stars, but I find it unfair. After all, the evaluation should not only be based on my personal feelings.

Super store. The staff is friendly and helpful. The shop looks very neat and clean. The wine department in particular has a very large and high-quality selection.
