The most amazing place
Mies is still too friendly.
In itself, the idea of renovating the station was a very good one. But why the idea of building completely new platforms a hundred meters behind the existing platforms without building new entrances is incomprehensible to me. The old platforms are barred and cordoned off and are rotting, many people are standing in the rain on the new ones because the canopies are much too short and the seating is also extremely modest.
Old not modern simply getting old
... and the price for the world's most wasted train station goes to:
Cologne West!
It is really a very dirty and difficult to access station. People don't like to stay here.
Cologne South is not much better, but Cologne West is a number in itself.
This is not a train station, but the manifest contempt for public space.
