Academy of Media Arts Cologne

Funding itself is great, but feminism has been very strongly represented in the KHM for some time now and it is overwhelming. Incidentally, by the way: I am a woman and find it sometimes quite inappropriate and completely exaggerated. As a result, many students no longer dare to speak their mind and a very strange atmosphere developed.

As a Haaner artist and founding member of the '90 Cologne group, I like to lose myself in this creative place.

I like a crazy atmosphere here and people are also very special - the artists, I like them 😊

GlasMoog - Gallery room of the KHM For many years, changing presentations have been held here in the small exhibition room. The exhibitions cover all areas of contemporary art, from installations to painting, object art and media art. Especially the big exhibitions when the "khm" celebrates their "open day" are extremely worth seeing. Current information can be found on the gallery's website but also on Facebook.

The gallery is a cool place for exhibitions, vernissages and performances. The CRYPTO PARTY with the music performance by Phillip Schulze on October 23, 2013 was again a good example of this. Since my first visit, I've been there countless times, getting the latest information on the Facebook page or the KHM homepage and always meeting great people there. Cool keep it up!
