The castle courtyard museum has a small garden with old trees and seating. A wonderfully quiet place right in the center of Soest. A real insider tip ;-)

The Burghofmuseum in Soest houses exciting and vividly decorated exhibitions on regional history. I particularly liked the information boards. A visit is definitely worth it!

Far exceeded expectations, both through fine pictures and sculptures as well as through old rooms. Everything is explained by boards. Very helpful lady in reception. Worth it.
