We visited AZUR Camping yesterday and we were pleasantly surprised. Very nice people in the reception that made us feel welcome. Friendly atmosphere and we could freely choose where to park our camper. As long as there was a free outlet we could choose the site. Very good place to stay if you have kids. Everything is in good order and well maintained. Very nice toilets and showers. We do definately not agree to above criticism. (made in English to make it easier for Google to translate it)

Decent camping side for decent prices. Lake near camping with a small local bar and beach. Some road noise for the highway. Ideal for visiting Igolstadt.

As you approach the campsite you initially drive passed retail developments and businesses but do not be put off. Your perseverance will pay dividends. The pitch allocations are very relaxed and we were shown a large area of grass and given the freedom to pitch whatever way we chose. Pitch surface was all rough grass and uneven but still did not require chocs. A number of established seasonal pitches, some which looked as if they needed tic, dotted throughout site added to its appealing quirkiness. 2 toilet/shower blocks, one which was very modern and newer, were both well maintained. Restaurant/bar at campsite entrance convenient though we never dined there ourselves. Bus stop a short walk from campsite entrance into Ingolstadt, a charming Bavarian town on the Danube. Campsite is wooded and on edge of lake so plenty of opportunity for walking/cycling. Supermarkets within walking distance yet their proximity didn’t impinge on the campsite. Our initial reservations were very quickly quashed and the site grew on us. We would definitely return.

We had a warm welcome by the staff on site. They even gave us some free dog food which was a nice gesture. We stayed for one night which was fine. You can pick where to pitch up with other campers/ vans doing the same. We were near the kids park. The toilet block is large, new and very clean with no extra costs. The site is next to a lake where people were swimming. It also has a pub/ restaurant on site - we arrived late so didn’t try either of these. At night there was a-lot of flies and mosquitoes due to being near the lake. Overall a good stop over site.

Quiet and peaceful, even though its near Motorway. Showers and toilets like brand new, washing machines tumble dryers all look new. Very nice. For 2 people and camper for 2 days just euro 56. Would recommend to anyone .
