Spatially and thematically exciting museum of the city of Ingolstadt. Large-scale sculptures by the sculptor Alf Lechner are shown in addition to themed exhibitions by his contemporaries, for example by Rupprecht Geiger as shown in the photos. The building, an old factory hall of the Audi works, was converted into a museum by Florian Fischer Architects. Simple but spatially excellent for the works. Opening times Thursday to Sunday. The visit is also worth the trip from Munich or elsewhere. I always like to come back!

This museum is mainly interesting for insiders of most modern sculptures. The sculptor worked exclusively with iron / steel. He was a strong artist personality, died in 2017.
