Petticakes Konditorei Cafe

Those who enjoy tasting and optically first-class "tartlets" and in / or near Grünstadt shouldn't overlook the petticakes. It is a great enrichment compared to the rather - not meant to be derogatory - rural bakery skills in the region. Very friendly service and a beautiful website are also a delight.

We had a very nice birthday cake for our child, and all of the guests were delighted because it tasted so good. Good advice, friendly. I can only recommend it.

Really very tasty and creative cakes, but the owners are now very petty and used to be friendlier. Pay with an EC card only from € 10, even if you are just below ... In Corona times, card payments are propagated almost everywhere and here you are only told that you have to pay fees for it. Yes ... 0.1% of the amount, like every businessman. If you then prefer to unpack the already wrapped cakes due to missing € 1.50 up to the full € 10, keep them and send the customer away without goods, then enough money has probably been earned ... Unfortunately, I didn't have any cash with me. I was very surprised at the behavior. I would have paid 10 € and accepted a credit of 1.50 € for the next purchase ... But then you weren't that creative. And then after the "action" I consciously did not want to buy something to get over 10 €.

Came by here by chance and fell in love straight away. Cute cafè with delicious tarts, great attention to detail and very warm owners. And it tasted good too ;-)

In the beginning the owner and her husband were very friendly, we ordered our small wedding cake for about 20 people there. When we got this yesterday and after about 15 minutes of our own transport, the cake fell down below. This chocolate, too, should run down to the side of a naked cake, as it looks like some kind of slime. When I mentioned this to the owner and her husband today, I was called a liar, they almost wrote that they gave no guarantee, and I didn't even say that I wanted my money back. I was constantly interrupted, there were clearly wrong statements made and not a bit answered that it was anything but nice for me last night, after all, it was about my wedding cake. In my opinion, this is absolutely not a good service, mistakes can happen, but this is simply not the way to deal with paying customers. I was absolutely shocked.
