Dear Mrs. Schöneich, dear Mrs. Schallmo. My children are all healthy and the anesthesia would be given to them free of charge. now do not understand why it is not the case with these small children, actually a pity to read this here. Because they are supposed to be so child friendly. I also checked with the cash register again. Children up to the age of 12 wear it.

Unfortunately, the practice only wants to enrich itself with a 4 year old child who is in pain ... The cash register would take over the anesthesia but they only want cash.

Best. Dentist. I am happy to take on the 200 km from where I live to Ms. Schöneich. She is simply the best at what she does.
Arzt Anaesthesie (12/25/2020)
As an anesthetist, I have been performing anesthesia for dental treatments in the districts of Pinneberg, Segeberg, Dithmarschen and Steinburg for 25 years. This is a dangerous and responsible job that must be skillfully - and also remunerated. In two months I will reach retirement age and can increasingly use the - fortunately rare - fake No longer hearing or reading reviews. When the statutory health insurances are asked about the doctor's payment, one often hears two false claims: the health insurance fund cannot reimburse the amount if a treatment invoice paid to the doctor is presented. That is knowingly wrong (Section 13 (2) SGBV "cost reimbursement principle" since 2007). Second: the health insurance fund pays the doctor "everything". This statement is doubly wrong: the health insurance company pays nothing to the doctor, but a lump sum to the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, which passes this on to the doctor in whole, in part or not at all. The basis has been the "EBM" fee schedule since 2014. It literally states: Chapter 5.1.2: "The provision of anesthesia in accordance with Section 5.3 in connection with dental and / or oral, maxillofacial surgery is only billable for: o Children up to the age of 12, provided that ... another way of eliminating pain is not possible. This must be stated with the reason. o Patients with an inability to cooperate with intellectual disabilities All of this is clear and will be explained in detail to the patient and relatives. Unfortunately there is also no payment if the mother and not the child is mentally handicapped. Sometimes it helps when the mother doesn't brings hundreds of euros to the tattoo artist, but buys a German book and the child a toothbrush!

My dentist recommended this practice to me because my tooth could not be anesthetized painlessly for a root canal treatment. I had the root canal treatment done under anesthesia and I am very relieved to see how everything went. As already described in the preliminary assessments, each step is explained precisely and calmly. I fell asleep, woke up and the treatment was over. Visiting the dentist has never been so stress-free. Many thanks to the Schöneich practice!
