SuperFit Mitte

I used to really enjoy using this gym, until COVID, where I have not heard 1 word from SuperFit.... 8 months later it is still closed, yet I am being contacted by debt collectors and being threatened to be taken to court?! I email Super Fit about this and I get an automated response saying it can take 8-10 WEEKS to reply to me. It"s a shame I really liked my membership here before - was reasonably priced but now I can understand why... I hope this gets resolved ASAP

Very nice gym. Lots of different machines and enough space. Lots of Team trainers and you can always join spontaneously. For the courses you need to book in advance. They offer a variety of courses. The only issue i have during the pandemic is that there is always a queue for the sauna especially in the evening, because only 5 people are allowed inside. I wish the service time for the sauna until 10 o'clock would be extended to midnight like lots of other gyms have it. This would help.

Appalling customer service! No communication when the gym closed due to COVID in April and nothing when it reopened either (no idea when that was). One day I went and found out it was closed, so I expected them to send an email to inform members when it reopened - like any professional business would. I received no communication for several months, and then I was suddenly contacted by extremely unprofessional debt collectors asking for an exorbitant amount of money due to late payments. I immediately emailed the gym to ask why they hadn’t sent any payment reminders or any communication on reopening. I even offered to pay any outstanding monthly fees if they waived the late and debt collection fees. Apart from an automatic email saying they would reply within 8 weeks (!) I didn’t hear anything from them. And this is where it got really unprofessional. Instead of talking to me, they sent fake payment reminders to the debt collectors, claiming they had sent them to me. This was an outright lie - you’ll see in recent one star reviews that they didn’t send anything to anyone. So unprofessional! When I proved I didn’t get any emails, the debt collectors changed course and said legally it didn’t matter anyway. Then why lie about it? I’ve never seen such an abysmal level of customer service (or rather lack thereof)! I’ve contacted my lawyer. Stay away from this gym!

Avoid! They incorrectly charged me a penalty fee back in June, which I had proof was incorrect, so I reached out to them three times to resolve. The first two times it took them 2-3 weeks to respond to me and both times they refused to admit their mistake. The third time, they did not respond at all. Today, I was contacted by a collections agency on behalf of Superfit saying I owe them the incorrect money they were trying to charge me! They made an accounting error, and rather than admitting it, they sent me to collections when I refused to pay extra for their mistake. I will be contacting an attorney.
