I would like to speak from my experience as a 2006 graduate: The first thing you have to know is that IT is an apprenticeship until retirement. You have to constantly develop yourself otherwise you stay on the line and are out ... In the bib (from back then), as in the course of studies, which it is almost like, you get the topics learned, but you have to stick to it yourself and stay on the ball. Trying, testing, making mistakes and analyzing why it didn't work (yes, in your free time!). Getting IT pre-chewed and then not being able to do everything! - It changes too quickly for that. I studied well in the bib, the topics were extensive and very interesting later on, the equipment modern, the lecturers not all-knowing but knew what they were talking about. The staff was always friendly and the IT almost always nice. (I know that this is very stressful and that sometimes the good guys fall by the wayside - all students are potential hackers ...;)) The campus was always very clean and well-kept. It is not a cheap undertaking, but if you do it right and stick to it, you will have recovered it in the first year of your career (the money). -The beautiful experience lasts for life. Learn for yourself without being an APPRENTICE. Today I am the head of the media department in a larger company (100+ employees) and sometimes look back wistfully on the good times at bib. - Thanks for that!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it, the money you have spent at the end cannot be outweighed by the basic knowledge you have at the end of the training. Not much of the promised company contacts for internships and jobs, the "prestigious degree" and other promises is really true. The apprenticeship was easy to manage for this, apparently it was more about the paid qualification. Without a degree at the back (which costs even more than the previous 3 years), you have no chance of a job. Most of the graduates of this year who have not studied or have not yet changed their job are now without any prospects. The school was modernized further and you can get along well with most of the lecturers, but in the long run it will not do you any good.

I can only share positive experiences with bib college. Ms. Hermes (head of department) always has an open ear for her students and tries to find a solution for every problem. Mr. Hermes established a great partnership with Solent University back then. I can only recommend this cooperation with bib college to everyone. I can only advise every student, if there are problems with the lecturers in Bergisch Gladbach, to openly seek discussion. Nobody wishes anything bad. Many thanks also to the great English teacher, Lis!
