I went there out of boredom and was really pleasantly surprised at what a great museum Duisburg has. The various exhibitions offer plenty of variety. I liked the Mercator exhibition best. There is a great interactive world map there. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to take photos there, but it is allowed in the other exhibitions. The exhibition about the development history of Duisburg has been designed with a lot of effort and has many small details such as B. in the background the Duisburg skyline. Unfortunately, the mask requirement is only observed by some visitors at the checkout area. There were some in the exhibition rooms without a mask or wearing a mask under their chin. Here the staff should control more strictly.
