A small museum, in which the silk production and the history of the silk weavers are shown in great detail.

Amazement was the order of the day. Luckily my friend is from Krefeld, has dealt a lot with the matter and was able to explain a lot to me.

Messy reception. No one at the counter, during opening hours, a birthday celebration took place in one of the halls. The exhibition around Bauhaus was very brief. Old looms were visible upstairs, little info and dust. The entrance price is only 5 €, but for the same amount you can also visit the Kaiser Wilhelm museum which has a lot more to offer.

Beautiful museum. You can look at old real looms. Demonstration of the looms on two Sundays a month.

Small but very fine museum. Here is how the silk is made. An can book guided tours for groups of varying length and shape. Highly recommended as a gift.
