We visited the museum to get inspiration and admired the works of Emil Schumacher and Fritz Winter. It was perfectly okay and as expected.

It was good

Not necessarily worth seeing. For some things, I wondered if it was art or garbage. Were there at the weekend. Very full ! Overseers were busy keeping an eye on everything.

A modern museum for a famous son of the city Hagen with his pictures, the still lifes of the 1950 years until abstraction in old age. Also his Altelier can be seen. In addition, the Osthausmuseum with its magnificent Art Nouveau architecture from inside and out with beautiful exhibitions, the winding new building fits well. The two pictures in the cellar about the great fire of the city of Hagen from 1943 and about the reconstruction around 1965 are for me key pictures, why Hagen is as it is now.

The museum for the famous son of the city of Hagen: Emil Schuhmacher is very worth seeing, especially his studio, which is built there!
