As I was able to experience for myself, studying at the Ruhr Academy is a special benefit. And I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks for this. The ambience of the former "Haus Ruhr" moated castle, the romantic courtyard with its over 250-year-old chestnut tree also ensures emotional well-being. I studied fine arts here at the Ruhr Academy for 8 semesters. My heart topic, namely to develop my painting further, was now possible. As far as my artistic qualification is concerned, I am particularly indebted to Professor Jürgen Störr, his wife Roswitha Störr and all my supervising lecturers from the Academy. On the one hand, the seminars highlighted topics that were new and interesting for me, that broadened my understanding of art and made it more sensitive. On the other hand, I have found lecturers in the past few years who particularly impressed and swept me away because of their enthusiasm. I thank you wholeheartedly for the numerous contributions and constructive mentoring. I found like-minded people in the Ruhr Academy, with whom I was able to gain a special relationship of trust, so that I continue to feel connected to the Academy with its lecturers and my fellow students. So today I am happy and grateful with a successful conclusion, but also modest, because in many ways I see a wonderful gift. What I have left is the memory of a precious time. Thank you!

Can I just join the novel (but studied graphic design) I was with people in the recording interview which say we got in art ne 4 times. Absolutely senseless to give them a career in the field. But were all taken with the statement crucial and even more important is passion and willingness to learn (in this sense). The rest is history.

I can not agree with the previous speakers. I have the experience that complaints about the classroom or other discrepancies are taken seriously by the management and for the quickest possible rectification. We students are by no means condescendingly or arrogantly treated, on the contrary, the semester spokespeople are asked again and again to seek the conversation of the students, which then takes place at eye level. As a result, the quality of teaching has improved significantly. I study illustration in the 5th semester and am now very satisfied with my lecturers. Furthermore, I believe that as a student you have the duty to develop your skills at home and not leave all the responsibility of the Academy. Also in the project weeks very interesting seminars take place. I must confess that at the beginning I was not very enthusiastic about the teaching that was offered, but this has turned into the opposite through discussions with the leadership and their commitment to the elimination of the "problems".
