The station is supposed to be a joke.
Absolutely not suitable for the disabled, you have no chance with a wheelchair or a pram alone.
Actually, there would be 4 rails at the station, 2 of which would be intended for fast pass by (Regio / ICE) but only two are used. Therefore, the S1 only runs every 30 minutes and at construction sites only every hour (although with the 4 rails a 20 minute cycle would be possible). If you want to drive towards Nuremberg, you can take a lift instead of the stairs, but the track to Erlangen is NOT wheelchair accessible. In addition, only one ticket machine is stamped on the track to Nuremberg. This one often does not work. To stamp your own ticket you have to go to the other track which makes it easy to miss your train.
There are no toilets or staff at the station.
Well, I'll tell it like that, it's just a small train station. I would not call this station just a stop. The track to Nuremberg can be reached by lift, but if you want to drive in the direction of Bamberg or come from Nuremberg you have to go down stairs.
Yes neither toilet nor staff .... Just stairs and an elevator that leads to the rails ...
Train station not usable for prams and handicapped people! If you want to drive in the direction of Erlangen, you won't get up the stairs, let alone if you get off in Eltersdorf, you won't come down. If there were minus stars, I would give - 5 *, since the train station is unreasonable !!!
