I have to honestly say Ms. Burger and her two colleagues Ms. Gutknecht and Ms. Montanti have always given me a very warm and respectful welcome as one should receive customers and citizens.I have lived in Umkirch for years and have always been very satisfied with Umkirch town hall, I am very satisfied that I will be back I moved here was a few years away but what made me most happy was the very nice reception in the town hall in Umkirch, the smile of the 3 ladies and the courtesy made me excited again and always happy to have a nice conversation that way you should treat your customers there some offices cut a slice of it greetings

The new town hall in Umkirch used to be the "Büningen moated castle" - in the Baroque era. The careful renovation has preserved the old structures, in the "wedding room" you can still see the beautiful baroque stucco decor. The staff around Mayor Walter Laub do an excellent job for the citizens of Umkirch, always friendly, approachable and helpful. The Citizens' Office is on the ground floor. In the beautiful rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor, temporary exhibitions by regional artists and guests can be experienced. The Umkirch municipal works are located on the second floor: close to the people, competent and reliable. The rooms are equipped for the disabled, there is an elevator and disabled access, and parking spaces. The old town hall on the main street has been redesigned as a club and culture house and offers a home to the lively club life of the community and the VHS Umkirch.
