A place where you can take your yoga practice to the next level (whether beginner or advancing student) and importantly bring in a deeper sense of integration into ones relationship with life. Ralf and Sundari have over 20 years of experience in teaching and practicing yoga, meditation and life enriching wisdom of Ayurveda. Both are amazing teachers and have a lot to share through their personalities, lived experience and their classes! The space itself is warm, bright and tranquil - an unexpected silent heart of the city of Freiburg...

In my opinion Ralf is one of the best yoga teachers in Freiburg. His courses are varied and challenging, and (before Corona) he always used appropriate aids that bring you to your limits without going "too far". The courses consist of a good mix of asana and pranayama. It was just a bit of a shame that he gave relatively few intermediate / advanced courses. However, during my stay in Freiburg (around 2016 - 2019) I really enjoyed my time doing Soma Yoga and was able to really deepen my practice. Thank you, Ralf! :)

3 years ago I started doing yoga more intensively and was looking for a yoga studio. I wanted to try a few studios first. Soma Yoga was the first studio that I tried. I liked it so much straight away that I signed up for an annual subscription. I've been there for 3 years now and I don't want to miss it anymore. Ralf and his team are just great, very benevolent and you just feel in good hands. I highly recommend the studio.
