Great new and expanding museum space. Current exhibition of Japanese woodcut prints excellent with descriptions in German, French, and English. Until 30 September 2018. Nice collection of portable sundials.

Not to be missed: Entrance through the shop in Salzstraße to the great show "Gottlieb Theodor Hase - Freiburg's first photographer" currently - again accessible from June 2020! Highly recommended for locals, guests of the city and the surrounding area & all friends of photography! The House of the Graphic Collection of the Augustinian Museum can be entered from the Salzstrasse with a covered entrance or from the shop with a wide range of products. The entrance is directly at the "Oberlinden" stop of Tram 1 (between Landwasser and Littenweiler). The cash register, lockers and toilet as well as a lift are on the ground floor. However, the Wendel staircase is particularly beautiful with recessed showcases and temporary exhibitions. On the first floor there are rooms for temporary exhibitions.
