Very interesting furnished museum that illustrates the history of the prison system in Baden-Württemberg from about the 18th century to the 70s of the last century.

A small museum with a lot of authentic exhibits. Furthermore, a look at work and life behind bars at the time. The informative section on the execution in Germany should certainly be emphasized. I would have been happy if the museum was a bit bigger, but at the moment there is also construction going on, since there is no entry fee, the museum makes the jump from 4 to 5.

Always worth a visit. Hope the opening hours can still be optimized. Good fascinating collection. Original building. I also recommend the Bavarian counterpart in Kaisheim / Schwaben.

Very worth seeing 👍🏻

The topic is interesting. The exhibition is a bit dated and only open on Sundays. More can be made of the topic.
