Not only is there a racist colonial figure hanging on the house and the name of the pharmacy is just as racist, the employees do not wear a mask when contacting customers. I know that this is not mandatory, but only trust a Plexiglas pane in a pharmacy? Seriously? Risk groups should better buy in the other neighboring pharmacies, because it works better with the infection protection.

The team around Dr. Freydank is thoroughly competent and very customer-friendly. This is and will remain my medicine cabinet thanks to excellent advice.

I had a prescription that the pharmacists still have to make themselves. I called 3 pharmacies, only the Mohrenapotheke or Dr. Freydank was able to provide professional and uncomplicated help. You immediately noticed that the person you were speaking to knows what she is talking about.

Absolute incomprehension for the insistence of the owner to keep the name. What kind of tradition should be preserved here? The tradition of colonial oppression? There is simply no justification for racist terminology, which offends many people. No etymological debate helps either - the use of the word is characterized through and through by devaluation, rejection and discriminatory clichés about black people. To deny this story is to adopt a racist stance. A name change doesn't seem so bad, does it?

The pharmacy is OK, the staff are friendly and the name doesn't bother me. Who still uses the word in parlance? Let's reinterpret it for the origin Mauritania.
