Las Galeras Bochela Tours

The tours they offer are amazing cuz the landscape is amazing. However, the lack of proper safety measures in the boat riding to go to the three beaches, or the horse riding to go to Limón Falls leaves everybody with a bitter taste in the mouth and wondering what I'm hell I'm taking this tour.

I chose this tour operator in August 2018 because I talked to a member of the association of tourist guides (Asociación de Guías Turísticos de Samaná) in El Limon before. Bochela Tours has one of the few guides in Las Galeras that did a course and obtained the oficial tourist guide card of the association. I booked a one day Quad Tour to Playa Rincon. The prices for tours in Las Galeras are nearly everywhere the same (50-60 Euros), only in the hotels they cost more. We were a small group of tourists in that tour and it was just great. I never drove a Quad before and I loved it, it is really worth the experience! Some women were afraid of going fast but our guide Alberto was very professional and patient and waited for everyone that fell behind. We also visited a traditional house, a lake/river, La Finca and the small Boca del Diablo. In Playa Rincon, a beautiful quiet beach, we had lunch. But to be honest: I loved most the view from La Finca, taking a camera with you is a must! And the noise of the Boca del Diablo was impressive, I took a video of it.
